1. Who we are and where these Terms apply
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to the public websites operated by Pave Edu Inc. (“PaveEDU,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) that link to these Terms. The intended Sites are PaveEDU.org, AIReadyKids.ca, AIReadySchools.ca, and AIReadyWorkplace.ca when each displays the shared Terms link. Other PaveEDU or AI Ready properties become covered when they link to these Terms (together, the “Sites”). A site operated by another organization is not covered merely because it mentions PaveEDU.
Please read these Terms before using a Site. By using a Site, you agree to these Terms to the extent you can legally do so. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site. Parents and guardians are encouraged to review a youth-facing Site with the young person using it.
These Terms address general website access and free public resources. A separate written agreement or notice may govern an event, program, assessment, school or employer engagement, paid service, account, or other specific activity. If the terms for that activity conflict with these Terms, the more specific terms govern that activity to the extent of the conflict.
2. Information and educational resources
Our Sites share information, educational materials, tools, perspectives, and opportunities relating to AI readiness and related topics. Content is general information, may change, and may not fit every learner, family, school, organization, or situation. Please use your own judgment and appropriate human oversight when using AI tools or acting on site content. We do not promise a particular educational, professional, safety, or other outcome from visiting a Site or using a public resource.
Unless a specific written agreement says otherwise, site content is not professional legal, medical, financial, or individualized educational advice. References to other organizations, tools, research, or resources do not by themselves mean that we endorse them or that they endorse us.
3. Young people and families
AI Ready Kids may be read by young people and families. A young visitor can read public content, but should ask a parent, guardian, or trusted adult for help when considering a form, a third-party tool, or information that is confusing or concerning. General use of a Site does not enroll a young person in a program or require the young person to provide personal information.
Forms for a youth activity will include their own description of what information is needed and any applicable parent or guardian permission. Please do not put a child’s sensitive personal information into a general inquiry field. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
4. Permitted use and intellectual property
You may browse the Sites and download or share a public resource for personal, classroom, or internal organizational learning, provided you keep its source and notices intact, do not sell or materially alter it, and do not imply PaveEDU’s endorsement. If a resource states a different licence or permission, that specific notice applies. For republication, commercial use, adaptation, or a broader distribution, please ask us first.
The text, designs, graphics, logos, and other materials on the Sites may belong to PaveEDU or to their respective owners and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership or grant permission to use our names, logos, or marks in a way that suggests affiliation or approval. Third-party material remains subject to its owner’s terms.
5. Responsible use
Please use the Sites lawfully and respectfully. Do not interfere with their operation or security; attempt unauthorized access; upload malware; misrepresent your identity or authority; submit material that infringes another person’s rights; or use a Site to harass, exploit, or endanger anyone. We may restrict access or remove submitted material where reasonably necessary to protect the Sites, users, or others, subject to applicable law.
6. Inquiries, forms, and privacy
If you contact us or submit a form, provide information you are authorized to share and that is reasonably needed for the stated purpose. Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee a response, admission to a program, a partnership, certification, or a service agreement. Any additional terms and consent requests displayed with a particular form also apply to that submission.
The Privacy Policy at https://paveedu.org/privacy describes our collection and use of personal information. A form submission or use of a Site does not automatically subscribe you to a newsletter or other marketing. Where ongoing communications are offered, the signup process explains that choice separately.
7. Other websites and tools
A Site may link you to third-party websites, videos, forms, AI tools, or resources. Any interactive AI tool currently linked from a Site operates outside our Sites. Those external services may have their own terms and privacy practices. Review them before using the service or sharing information. We are not responsible for an independent third party’s content, availability, or practices, although we welcome reports of a problematic link.
8. Availability and changes
We may update, correct, suspend, or remove site content and features. We aim to keep information useful and Sites available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that every item will remain current or free of errors. We may revise these Terms; the posted effective date will show when the current version takes effect. For material changes, we will provide additional notice where appropriate or required by law. Continued use after a revised version takes effect is subject to that version, to the extent permitted by law.
9. Responsibility and legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Sites and public resources are provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or particular results. Pave Edu Inc. is not responsible for losses caused by reliance on general site content, interruptions, or independent third-party services to the extent the law permits that allocation of responsibility.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or a consumer or other legal right where the law does not permit that exclusion or limit. These Terms do not alter any express promise in a separate written agreement with Pave Edu Inc.
10. Governing law and questions
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada, subject to any mandatory protections that apply where you live. If a part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply to the extent possible.
